Instrumental Tuition for 2018/19 school year

30 April 2018 (by ballycastle)

The Education Authority's Music Service will continue to provide lessons in school next school year. Violin, flute and clarinet lessons are available along with trumpet and cello.

If your child is interested in learning a musical instrument there are a few factors you need to consider: Daily practise is needed in order to make progress and maintain interest. There needs to be a high level of commitment from parents and child for the whole year. From September 2018 the full cost of the lessons for the school year will be due for payment by 30th September 2018 and this will not be refunded if the child decides to drop out of lessons. There will be at 32 lessons provided in the school year and the cost will depend on the length of the lesson. Instruments can be hired from the school or from the EA - or you can use your own if you have one. Pupils can be entered for a Graded Exam when the Music Teacher feels the child is ready. If you would like your child to be considered for a space in our Music Tuition Programme please contact Mrs Evans for more details.
