P4 Library Visit

P4 enjoyed visiting the library in Ballycastle during the Autumn term.

We learnt that it is free to join the library and that we can borrow a number books for three weeks at a time.

We also found out that fiction books are arranged in alphabetical order and that non-fiction books are arranged according to the Dewey system - this is a special number code used in libraries.  Books about the same subject are kept together, in number order at the same place on the shelves.

During our final visit we got to use the computers and we even learnt how to borrow an e-book!
