The Northern Health and Social Care Trust has provided our school with free PE equipment. One pack per family has been provided to encourage engagement in physical activity outside school.
Only a few schools have been included in the pilot and we are delighted to have been selected as one of the lucky schools!! This initiative aims to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of pupils and to help them achieve the recommended level of 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Each bag contains a range of equipment including skipping rope, cones, bean bag, balls etc. along with a selection of resource cards on various activities which will help develop fundamental movement skills. The cards can be used with the support of family members. The Trust will be contacting parents for feedback on this pilot.
