Ballycastle Integrated Primary School

The children all got into school safe and well today, our practices and class talks obviously helped the children a great deal.  The Walking Bus ran very smoothly and now that the children have 'done it for real' they have the experience to know exactly what to expect tomorrow.   As you will have seen this morning staff are on hand in the Fountain Area, at the Crossing and along the route to help keep your children, our pupils, safe during this time of disruption. We have additional staff who accompany some of the younger children also.  The general public were very obliging and many avoided walking through the Fountain Area this morning. We are ready to complete the return run this afternoon.  Please remain outside the Fountain Area and stay back from the exits so as not to impede the movement of pupils as they are dismissed.  Remember to spread across the area around the Fountain so that we can see you clearly.  It would be a great help if you acknowledged us as we wave to you when we are dismissing your child/children.  Thank you for all your support.
