The Quay Road will be closed to traffic for one week in early December to allow for resurfacing. There will be a number of days when the road surface will be very uneven and much lower than the footpath.
Only essential vehicles will have access to the Quay Road, the playing fields car park and Beechwood Avenue for the duration of the resurfacing work. Having carried out a Risk Assessment, the school will be operating a 'Walking Bus' for all arrivals and departures from school to ensure the safety of pupils and parents/carers during this time. I am currently making arrangements for this and more information on how this will operate will be sent home on Monday of next week. Thank you for your ongoing support and co-operation. Mrs Evans
