Friday 1st June is our P1 to P7 Sports Day. Below is a reminder of the arrangements for the morning as issued last week. The routine is the same as last year.
Children to wear P.E. kit to school in the morning:
- White T-shirt
- Navy shorts or jogging bottoms
- School Jumper
- Trainers
- Waterproof coat in case of light rain.
Children must bring in a named water bottle to take to the pitch.
Routine for the day:
- P1/2/3 will go to Astro-turf first for 9.30am sharp and will start doing fun activities.
- At approximately 10.15am P4-P7 will arrive and P1/2/3 will do competitive races first, followed by P4-P7.
- When these are over there will be a Parent Race and a Toddler Race.
- P1/2/3 will then go back to school and P4-P7 will continue with their fun activities.
- This means if you have a child in P1/2/3 and another in P4/5/6/7 you will be able to watch each child in turn and watch the competitive races starting between 10.15 & 10.25am.
Parents are welcome to come and support their child/children. In order to ensure the safety of the children:
- Please stay at the car park edge of the pitch when activities start
- Please do not bring any food for your children. We will provide a snack for them.
- Pupils will remain in the care of school staff throughout the morning and are not permitted to leave their groups. Pupils are our responsibility throughout the day.
