Possibility of Disruption

27 February 2018 (by ballycastle)

Planning ahead for possible wintry weather later this week. As you are probably aware by now there is a Yellow Weather Warning out for possible disruption due to snow later this week.

As yet it is unclear how much snow will fall or how much it will impact on Northern Ireland. The snowfall maybe very localised and we make get away relatively unscathed! If we have to close school you will be informed via the Mobile App, the School Website and /or our Text Messaging Service. We do not use the BBC School Closure Service. The Cook has informed me that unless the snow is very heavy meals will be served as usual. If there is a power cut or mobile phone networks are down these services will be unavailable to us. Parents should only take their children to school if they feel that it is safe to do so. Closing the school will be a last resort. Many Thanks, Mrs Evans
